FPV Drone Racing Looking To Be The Next Nascar

Drone Racing League: The Sport of the Future
The Drone Racing League Wants to Be to Drones What the WWE Is to Wrestling

What is FPV Drone racing?

Drone Racing is a new high speed competitive racing sport. Skilled pilots fly quad-copter drones through three-dimensional courses at speeds up to 120mph. DRL drones are custom built for speed, agility, and performance. Pilots steer from the point of view cameras mounted on the front of the drone and by wearing First Person View (FPV) goggles that display a live image transmitted by the onboard camera. Flying a drone competitively at high speed in FPV is an intense, immersive experience.

Learn the basics of First Person View drone piloting. Find out what it takes to be a competitive pilot. Join the sport, get involved, meet other drone pilots in a community near you.

If you’re new to the sport and never put on FPV goggles and never experienced drone flying, the drone racing league has a course called the “Gates of Hell” simulator, which puts you up against top drone pilots to test your skill level.

Six races around the world for pilots to earn season points. The pilots with most points qualify for the World Championship race, where its winner-take-all. Check out the standings for all your favorite pilots and FPV racing drones.
